Bringing It All Home: Garden Photography
5586f Karen gave a wonderful presentation in which her images were not only beautiful, but showed the horticulture and gardens to their best advantage. She is a photographer par excellence and her extensive knowledge of horticulture only enhances her ability to photograph gardens and to capture the details as well as the overall landscape and spirit of a site. We give her excellent ratings!
Green Fingers Garden Club Membership Meeting
We were familiar with Karen because of her speech at the Woodstock Garden Club. She again delivered a wonderful presentation filled with passion and knowledge.
Big winter
Karen spoke at our garden club meeting on 2/20/15. Lots of slides of snow and winter in the dead of a big winter, but I came away apperiating the winter landscape that I now stopped to study after Karen's talk. Although we all wanted spring desperately , she helped me make the most of winter.
Very informative and interesting
Karen recently gave a very interesting and informative presentation to our group. She is a delightful person dedicated to gardening and photography.
Authentic, entertaining and educational!
We so enjoyed Karen's lovely photos, easy going manner and approachability at the 17th Annual Gathering of gardeners in Rochester. It was a garden tour with a dear friend, ready to share a pocketful of seeds!
The Darwinian Garden
Karen;s lecture was the opener for the Elizabeth Park Garden Lecture Series. Her words and photos helped bring the green of spring and summer into a dark lecture hall in the middle of winter.
The content of her lecture was excellent - lots of interesting things to learn. I would have her come back and lecture for our series again.
