Kate has lived and grown in several places from zone 5 thorugh zone 8. Currently in South Carolina and willing to travel to most of north Charleston area. Talks further away can be arranged - just let me know and we can work something out.
Poplular talks cover most topics. A special talk on hierloom gardening is done as an lady from 1925 discussing the state of gardening at that time.
Kate is a popular speaker across the MidWest and east coase. Her first book - The Right Sized Veggie Garden was published by St Lynn's Press in Pittsburgh and talks about growing in small places, raised beds, Square Foot Gardening, container gardens etc. The second book: The New York & New Jersey Month by Month Gardening was published 2016. Kate also writes a regular column for the Orangeburg county newspaper (Time & Democrat).
Kate is currently taking bookings for the 2022/23 season in person and virtually.
