Great Program on Heirloom Tomatoes and Straberries
Julie presented her program on Heirloom Tomatoes and Strawberries at the April meeting of the Ebell Society of Santa Ana Valley. Julie presented great gardening tips for these two spring-time plantings. She brought many starter plants which many in attendance bought. My Marianna Peace tomatoes are doing beautifully. Must be due to her great fertilizer--her own conconction.
Gardening is Fun!
Julie talked to us about edible flowers, and brought us not only samples, but gave us wonderful ideas for our dinner parties. Her warm, welcoming style encouraged questions from all of our guests. All of us left enlightened and inspired!
Entertaining and Educational = FUN !
Julie and Amy provided our Garden Club members with great information (handouts!) and beautiful visuals...plus, we got to eat them! Their presentation was fun, and tasty, too ! We sampled organic lettuces, micro greens, and edible flowers (w/ cream chees/garlic!) and they served us a bountiful salad with beautiful flowers and greens! We were able to purchase gorgeous organic bowls, ready to eat !

Julie’s “From the Kitchen to the Garden” lectures series is a hit at the Dragonfly Shops & Gardens. Customers enjoy her lively, humorous presentation style and leave the workshops with loads of useful planting advice. The delicious tastings held during the classes of edibles from the garden, such as heirloom tomatoes and year-round strawberries, have participants excited about enjoying the fruits of their labors.

Julie is a natural speaker. She knows all about tomatoes and imparts her knowledge naturally.

We were fortunate to have Julie Bawden-Davis speak at the Costa del Sol Las Flores Garden Club in Mission Viejo. CA on February 15, 2012, on "Decorating Your Home WIth House Plants". Julie captured our audience with her decorating hints, watering and fertilizing instructions for indoor plants. I recommend her highly and know I speak for our members as well.
