Engaging and Informative Speaker!
Heather did a program for our small garden club on the topic of plant partners. She was easy to work with and was able to focus her talk to our garden club's specific interests. Highly recommend her for any group as she will do in person, hybrid or zoom presentations depending on your needs.
Wonderful Speaker
Heather is a wonderful speaker. She is articulate and organized, and is passionate about pollinators and native plants. I thoroughly enjoy listening to her presentations.
Enthusiastic and Educational!
Heather recently did a virtual program for me through the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College and it was fabulous. She shared in a clear, organized, and lovely presentation how important it is to provide for pollinators - especially during shoulder seasons. I had many viewers write to me saying how much they learned - and her message is so important! Heather was also great to work with as a speaker - she got back to me right away with everything I needed and is well versed with how to engage an audience through a webinar. It was a professional and fun program that I hope more people ask her to do so more gardeners can learn from her.
Knowledgeable and helpful
I’ve had the opportunity to learn from Heather on two occasions: one was at a local garden center/nursery and once on her garden tour. I have left both places having learned so much and feeling so inspired to plant more natives and plants for pollinators and wildlife! Heather clearly has an amazing amount of knowledge on the subject (and so much adjacent knowledge about gardens, biodiversity, life cycles of wildlife, etc), she articulates it so well and she is just a very helpful soul!
What a great speaker!
Heather just spoke for our group in a webinar called, "Fueling the Fall Migration" and she was marvelous! She communicates clearly and professionally, but her charisma and deep knowledge shine through. Heather's passion is native plants and her gardening experience traverses the planting zones. Any group would be lucky to have her as a presenter.
Gardening
I have ‘attended’ several zoom presentations by Heather as well as seeing her at the 2021 Master Gardener International Conference. She is clearly one of the very best presenters of gardening information. I always learn something I didn’t know before. Her answers to attendee questions are clear, complete, accurate, and informative. I have registered for more zooms by Heather.
Gardening
Great presentation for Master Gardeners. Thoughtful and technically correct. Comprehensive content. A joy to watch. Fielded questions with grace and tact.
Community Gardening
Heather presented to the New Cumberland Business & Professional Group at the July monthly meeting of the group. There were approximately 40 people in attendance. Heather presented on the subject of "pollinators" and related topics generally associated with growing a better garden. Her presentation was very well prepared and delivered. She answered all questions thoughtfully and with energy, and was well received by the group.
Additionally, Heather served as an "Advisor" to the development of a Community Garden which the Borough of New Cumberland started this year. She was clearly helpful in providing advise on what to do (and what not to do) in order to build an attractive community asset.
We have found Heather to be a terrific source of knowledge and helpfulness in both of the endeavors noted above.
Thank you Heather!!!

Traveling for Garden Inspiration
Heather spoke to our garden club this past season combining her love and knowledge of gardening with her travels. We all enjoyed her power point presentation which was a fun combination of beautiful garden photos and tips for visiting gardens during your travels along with some glimpses into her personal life. This was presented in a Zoom format because of Covid but nothing was lost in the "translation." This summer Heather spoke to many of us when she opened her home gardens for a tour as part of our summer Wednesday morning garden adventures seeing members' and friends of members' gardens. She is enthusiastic about pollinators as well as designing and planting spaces for pollinators.
Monarch Butterfly Presentation
Heather visited our office to speak and provide a program about monarch butterflies. She was fantastic! The audience included both children and adults, all of whom were fully engaged thanks to Heather's enthusiasm and presentation style. Everyone learned a lot! I would highly recommend Heather Andrews as a speaker/presenter .
