Robin Haglund, Founder and President of pioneering garden coaching firm Garden Mentors®, is viewed nationally as The Garden Mentor. Her superpower is teaching struggling gardeners how they can garden successfully so that they can achieve their dream gardens. She is an award-winning designer, an engaging speaker, a gardening television writer & frequent guest, and she dedicates much of her own gardening time volunteering and teaching others about the natural world & the gifts it gives us.
She is an accomplished online, virtual speaker. And, she has decades of experience educating groups of all sizes in person.
Her online gardening school, articles, and seminars are peppered with colorful anecdotes derived from her childhood on the farm, her daily adventures with honeybees, chickens, hummingbirds, plant medicine & puppies in the garden, and her every day garden coaching experiences working hand-in-hand and at a distance with professional & aspiring novice gardeners in their gardens.
When Robin isn't in the garden, she's likely exploring the wild world with her camera or cooking up something tasty or healing from her harvests -- both cultivated and ethically wild harvested.
Many of her herbal creations are available for purchase in select retail locations & online in the Garden Mentors Designs Herbal Apothecary.
Upon request, Robin enjoys sharing samples of her products and offering in-person sales to accompany her talks. This is a bonus experience for garden club meetings!
Robin’s garden coaching, design insights, her tips for gardening with pets, her permaculture practices, and her experiences with urban beekeeping are featured in several media sources including Organic Gardening Magazine, The New York Times, Sunset Magazine, The Seattle Times, PBS’s “Growing a Greener World”, HGTV’s “Landscaper’s Challenge” & The Living Homegrown Podcast, This Old House Magazine, and her gardening knowledge, gardens, and photography appears in several gardening books.
