Bonnie speaks to garden-related organizations and businesses on popular subjects such as espaliered fruit trees, backyard chickens, backyard composting, backyard vineyards, vintage container design, and garden styling. She and her husband, John, have won several ribbons for their home-made wines at the San Diego and Orange County Fairs.
A professed self-taught gardener, Bonnie has an Avian B.S. Degree from the College of Agriculture at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado. In addition, she has earned an International Business Certificate, and Wine Technology Certificate from Mira Costa College, Oceanside, California.
Bonnie has been an active gardener and participating member of several local garden clubs for over 20 years. Bonnie is a member of Garden Writer's Association.
