Teresa’s specialty is inspiring her customers and clients to get creative in their own backyards and gardens with the use of the historical language of flowers. Used for centuries, the language of flowers is extensive and can provice endless sentiments from every day to special and grand occasions. She’s a natural when teaching and talking about flowers and their sentiments and how to create romantic, heartfelt and sometimes whimsical posies by using what you’ve got in your very own garden!

Founder, Owner + Creative Director of The Bonny Doon Garden Company since 1999- a full service floral design studio.
Author of The Posy Book, Garden Bouquets That Tell a Story, Countryman Press 2019.
Teresa is a pioneer of the Slow Flower movement, She was featured in Michael Pollan's PBS documentary The Botany of Desire and has appeared on CBS News Sunday Morning. Her work has been featured in Elle magazine, San Francisco Chronicle, and many bridal magazines.
